After much deliberation and the parental veto of the names "Kitty" and "Cat", Violet decided that her new baby kitten will be known as Mittens. It's a bit pedestrian for my tastes, but the cat does have mittens, so there you go. I'm sure her choice of names had nothing to do with the fact that she views BOLT six times a week and our Mittens looks identical to the cartoon stray in the movie.
