Fairy wings are a frequent part of Violet's wardrobe. This skirt is just one of 5 skirts that I made in a recent burst of creative
diarrhea energy. I went crazy and bought a bunch of half yard fabric remnants on Etsy and used them to make skirts and crayon rolls*. Half a yard of fabric is just enough to make one skirt for my little pixie, with a leftover strip that can contribute to making a crayon roll.
As I was composing this post, Violet emerged from her room like this. She is looking forward to summer, with a halter dress, but keeping things practical by layering it with a long sleeved shirt.
*For the uninitiated, a crayon roll is a crayon holder made out of fabric that can be rolled up for easy transport. See here for visual.
