This pile represents a mere fraction of the allen wrench population in our household. What does one do with all of these tools? Is there a retirement facility for wrenches that have successfully aided in the construction of an Ikea dresser? Should I simply tape the wrench to the back of whatever piece of furniture it came with, so that they may grow old together? Can art be made from the orphan allens? I seem to be unable to throw them away. It strikes me as callous to discard an object that was, for an hour, so indispensable. So, for now, rest easy little allen wrench. I will keep you safe in the junk drawer.
