Catching Fireflies

This is Violet's first time catching fireflies. We've come a long way from the days of screaming in terror at the sight of a moving insect. We called these lightening bugs when I was a kid, but after repeated readings of The Very Lonely Firefly, it didn't make much sense to confuse Violet with nostalgic vocabulary. Upon releasing her little beetle prisoners, Violet politely called to them, "Thank you Buggy!"
