This is the shot I wish I had taken of my own child's hand when she was a newborn. I have become a bit of a newborn stalker amongst my friends and acquaintances. I love photographing them, especially their wrinkly hands and feet. Oh, and newborns are REALLY cooperative.

I too wish I had taken more artistic photos of my kids when they were babies but then again I had not been introduced to the wonderful world of digital photography at that point. Using all that film to get one good shot of a hand or a tiny foot would have been way too wasteful back then.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had taken pictures of newborn hands, too. I don't have a single one of either of my kids'. BTW, I really like the juxtaposition of the two contrasting textures in that picture - the furry blanket and the wittle bitty hand. Very cool!
