She was totally serious about this look. I can't imagine how sweaty her feet were encased in thick tights, frilly polyester anklets and those pleather flats. Maybe she channels the body heat up to warm her arms. All day long I just shiver looking at her lack of long sleeves.
So, I have a new blog roll just for folks who participate in Wardrobe Wednesday. If you don't see your link, let me know and I'll add it. Honor system. I'm not going to check and make sure you participate every week. I know that sometimes the kids look normal and that's no fun to post.
The clothes are fine. But the look on her face is IT. She's a fierce girl. Are you ready, Heathen?
ReplyDeleteLove that indifferent model look that she has going there...
ReplyDeleteOh YES! Skyler would love that entire ensemble.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of Skyler she looked normal when I got home yesterday (left before she got dressed) but when I talked to dh this morning and asked what she was wearing he said he didn't notice. I'm scared. How do men not notice what their six year old is wearing? She could leave the house in a bathing suit and a boa and he wouldn't bat an eye.
My favorite part is the Charlie's Angels hairdo!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah. Fierce.
ReplyDeleteShe looks great although I would get cold looking at her too. Davey is running around in just underpants and a long sleeve T since we started potty training. It doesn't seem to bother him.
ReplyDeleteThat look is priceless. My kids don't get this whole dress for the weather thing either. "But I really wanna wear my flip flops!"
ReplyDeleteIf we want them to EVER wear sweaters, our children must never meet.
ReplyDeleteA model in the making!
ReplyDeleteLoving the attitude.
