I will begin my month of angst-filled holiday posts soon.
For now, I bring you my Grandmother's turkey.
...and my little turkey...
...and my favorite Grandpa...
...and these boy beasts, who actually stopped texting their girlfriends to play with Violet...
I will spare you photographs of a car-sick covered Violet and me in my pajamas at dusk. I'm sure your imagination can fill in the gaps.
Onward to Christmas!

Well, that's the cutest little turkey I've ever seen! Happy Thanksgiving!!
ReplyDeleteI wish we had Thanksgiving, or something to fill the gap between Halloween and Christmas! What do you all have for Christmas dinner? Is it turkey again?
ReplyDeleteMrsW- Christmas dinner varies more than Thanksgiving, but a lot of people serve ham. My Grandmother always made bacon wrapped scallops and shrimp cocktail for Christmas Eve. Personally, I only bake cookies and then I force them on others.
ReplyDeleteAah - we're firmly entrenched in turkey over here - but like you guys it's a once a year thing. Your Grandmother's menu sound delish.
ReplyDeleteI introduced a touch of decadence to the proceedings with a goose one year, but at around US$80 for the bird it may be a while before I repeat that particular Charles Dickenseque experience.
Boy beasts... love it. :)
