So, Violet comes downstairs with her kitten ears on and says (rather excitedly), "I'm going to make myself a kitty!"
I probably mumbled something like, "Uh huh, great sweetie", without really looking at her.
When she returned to me this is what I saw.
"What did you use to do that?"
"I used a crayon!"
"Um, what kind of crayon?"
"This!"
That would be an orange MAGIC MARKER, not a crayon. Luckily, it was not a sharpie.

That's really quite good handiwork.
ReplyDeleteBut she's a cute kitty! Yes, lucky for you it wasn't a sharpie. My kids color on themselves with so-called washable markers all the time and I still have to scrub pretty hard to get it all off.
ReplyDeleteAda and I recently had a conversation about not writing on her face. She does love to "paint" her toenails with markers, but I figure I can only fight so many battles at once.
ReplyDeleteApparently another conversation is in order. She just came home from dinner at the neighbors' with blue dots on her eyelids.
ReplyDeleteExcellent work, Violet! Way to accomplish your goal. :)
ReplyDeleteNurture that talent. At least it's not black stripes in permanent marker over face and body just before a swimming lesson.... thankfully permanent doesn't apply to skin - well it probably does but if you rub hard enough the skin sloughs off!
ReplyDeleteHa ha! She is an adorable kitty.
ReplyDeleteHehehehe, well she certainly made a good kitty, magic marker or not!
