Well, she's gone and turned four on me and I guess I'll stop crying any minute now. We had a lovely, simple party. It was cool and breezy. No one passed out in the grass and nobody needed the band aids and neosporin I brought along. The rain held off until the last guest was safely in their vehicle. It was noted that even the weather seemed to be spoiling Violet.
Oh, and Violet got her first big girl bike. It was given along with enough safety equipment to protect a linebacker. I suppose it's a miracle that I survived my childhood without knee and elbow pads.

It was a perfect party!
ReplyDeleteOh.My! Kelly, that first picture is AWESOME!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you all had a nice party! But the cupcakes don't look like poo...what's up with that?
Any day without neosporin at our house is a good day.
Awesome bike!
ReplyDeleteDon't be sad that 4 is here. 4 is wonderful. Really, one ofthe best years so far. I'm looking forward so much to Patrick being 4.
Love the 4 picture! The cupcakes look yummy, too. Glad the party rocked. Happy b-day, Violet! It does go so very fast.
ReplyDeleteAnd now I'm officially scared. Wow, she looks SO GROWN UP!! I'm just in full planning mode for Peanut's 3rd and I can't believe the change between 3 and 4... She is so adorable and I'm so glad the party went well.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great party. Happy birthday Violet.
