A Weekend in the Country

The Heathen Family took a little road trip this weekend, to sleepy Brookfield Township. This is where I grew up and although the idea of living there full-time gives me the hives; I love a good summer visit.  There aren't many places left where a four year old can run wild, with almost no supervision, and not sustain any trauma (watermelon overdose, not withstanding).
