I felt like a little context was necessary to get the full effect of my belly photo. My tattoo is practically undecipherable post-pregnancy.
Now! Show me yours!
*Man! This new camera certainly shows the detail. Maybe I should have put a little vaseline on the lens for this last one.

Awesome! You are amazing and brave and REAL! You know that, right? How do you feel now?
ReplyDeleteI think I can probably scrounge up a DURING photo of my last pregnancy, but I'm sure I don't have a BEFORE photo anywhere. Okay, will have to work up some nerve...
You rock! My belly hasn't seen the light of day since Reagan was in office (first term), and that has nothing to do with pregnancy. I love your photos. And thanks for referring to the Belly Project. It's great to see real bellies, bellies that have done the hard work of having children. We need that perspective when we look at ourselves. I think it will help us to not judge ourselves too harshly.
ReplyDeleteFantastic! Mom bellies are beautiful too!
ReplyDeleteI plan on sending this link to a friend of mine who is expecting TWINS any day now.
Bravo woman!
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome. You rule. I don't actually have any belly pics I've never taken one. I mean, I have pictures of myself while pg, but none of just the belly. I've also never (well, after the age of 5) worn a bikini so... I think I'm just belly shy. I don't think I can do it. I'd show it to you if I ever met you, I just wouldn't want photographic evidence...
ReplyDeleteThat is fascinating. Thank you. And no, I won't be showing you mine. Anyway, I haven't got any tattoos...
