If not specifically instructed otherwise, Violet will get up shortly after being tucked into bed and change her clothes. She removes the warm pajamas and puts on her Smurf skirt and a random shirt. In this case, a frilly edged turtleneck. I couldn't sleep with that shit on my neck, but whatever. This nightly obsession simultaneously infuriates and amuses me.
Tonight, I caught Violet in the act. She got a free pass on the scolding because I was so impressed with the results of my espionage.

ReplyDeleteI made the skirt. Once upon a time it was a full size bed sheet. Then, it was a drawstring skirt for me in my less lumpy days. I cut it down to size for Vi last summer.
